Frequently Asked Questions

1 Is Pranithi free to use?

Yes, completely free. Sign in with your Google account and take full-length NEET practice tests immediately — no credit card, no subscription, no trial period.

2 Does the test follow the real NEET pattern?

Yes. Every test has exactly 180 questions — 45 Physics, 45 Chemistry, and 90 Biology — with a 3-hour timer and +4/−1/0 marking scheme, matching the official NTA NEET (UG) format.

3 Are the questions from NCERT?

All questions are based on the NCERT Class 11 and Class 12 syllabus as prescribed by NMC for NEET (UG). Questions are mapped to specific chapters so your results show exactly which parts of the syllabus need more work.

4 What does the weakness report show?

After every test you get a chapter-by-chapter breakdown showing how many questions you attempted, how many you got right, your accuracy percentage, and your average time per question. Chapters below 50% accuracy are flagged for priority revision.

5 Can I practice only specific chapters?

Yes. Use the Prepare mode to build a custom drill by selecting subject, chapter, difficulty level, and question count. The timer adjusts automatically based on the number of questions you choose.

6 How is time tracked during the test?

Time spent on each individual question is recorded automatically. After the test your report shows whether you spent too long on certain chapters or rushed through others — so you can adjust your exam strategy.

7 Can I retake a test?

Yes. You can take as many tests as you want. Each test is a fresh randomised set of questions. Your history and all past reports are saved so you can track improvement over time.

8 Do formulas and chemical equations display correctly?

Yes. The platform uses MathJax with the mhchem extension to render physics formulas and chemistry equations exactly as they appear in NCERT textbooks and the real NEET paper.

9 What happens if I run out of time?

The test submits automatically when the timer reaches zero, exactly like the real NEET exam. Only questions you answered before time ran out are counted. You can also submit early at any point.

10 Is there a mobile app?

There is no separate app to download. The platform is fully responsive and works well on any mobile or tablet browser. Open pranithi.in in Chrome or Safari and you're ready to go.
